We can provide site waste management plan support and advice for both Clients and contractors.
The Site Waste Management Plan Regulations 2008 require that any construction project over 300K has a site waste management plan. Both Clients and contractors have duties under these regulations:
At design stage the client must ensure that a site waste management plan is in place and decisions taken to design out waste are recorded. The client must pass the design element of the plan to the contractor at the commissioning stage.
The contractor should supply information to the client on how they will manage the waste on site and this should be included in the plan before work starts. The Client must review the SWMP at least every 6 months with the review recorded and any findings or changes identified.
